i can not find this pose and i need the name for a picture caption. let me describe it. you are standing in “five star pointed pose’ BUT instead of arms spread out to your sides, the arms are up, over the head, hands joined together…..

i know the basic backbend/veer/Chakra-asana. but whats beyond that. i’m honestly flexable and have been trying some sort of bing that involves leaning on your forearms and attempting to grab your ankles. even if i’ve herd of a pose like that. i couln’t find any pictures or tutorials or even a name for it. obviously i’ll question my yoga instructor to help me out, but now im just curious

I’m just curious about this…I’ve heard different things from different Yoga instructors. I saw on Wikipedia that the Sanskrit name is “Balasana” – “The name comes from the Sanskrit words bala (child) and asana (pose).”
